Daytime Reflective Mirror Effect Window Film

Since one way mirror window film only provides daytime privacy, you will have to employ additional or alternative solutions to achieve night time privacy as well. The easiest way to keep people from seeing into your home at night is to close curtains and blinds.

Easy Installation Steps:

1.Measure the length and width of the window and cut the film into a proper size.

Note: Keep the film approximately half inch longer and wider than the window.

2.Clean and wet the glass completely. Then peel off the backing transparent protective film.

3.Paste the film to the window and use your hand to press it from the top down to attach to the surface.

4.Squeegee away water and air bubbles with a scraper or a credit card gently. Cut the excessive parts slowly.

Can this be applied on the inside of the window or you does it get applied on the outside?

We do not suggest applying it on the outside because the weather will deteriorate it. The blackout window film is meant for inside use.

Can this be applied to a sky light?

If the surface is flat and not textured, I’m sure it can be applied to a sky light.

Will it still let in enough light for indoor plants to grow?

Indoor plants will grow normally, this product is effective to block UV rays, glare and some heat.

At night, can you still see out but not in?

If you have a light in anyone can see inside at night from outside. Without a light in its like a regular window.

Is it easy to remove?

Yes it is. The static cling window film goes on with water. If you want to remove it, just take it down without leaving any residues.
