WHY CHOOSE A SEA SPONGE?BECAUSE IT IS A HEALTHIER CHOICE. Synthetic sponges typically have artificial chemicals added. Natural sea sponges, however, contain natural enzymes that make these kinder to your skin. The lack of synthetic chemicals mean sea sponges are a healthier choice to artifical sponges. The sponge will feel hard and dry when delivered. Fully saturate with water and squeeze a few times, it will transform to become lovely & soft. *PLEASE NOTE* When delivered, sponges may appear flatter or misshaped; please do not worry as they will return to their full size and shape once they have been soaked and rehydrated. |

EACH SEA SPONGE IS UNIQUEBecause sea sponges are natural organisms, they vary by shape, size, color & texture. The uneven density within sponges can sometimes give rise to uneven coloration for example. The color of the sponges or marks seen are completely normal and demonstrates the variation one finds in many natural products. Because of this, please note that the sponges you receive may look slightly different from the images and from previous orders. |
HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR SEA SPONGE?The longevity of sponges can be increased if proper care is taken of them. Rinse thoroughly after use and let air dry completely. To freshen, soak sponges occasionally in warm water with baking soda. Rinse afterwards to ensure all baking soda has washed out completely. A properly cared for sponge can give many months of use. Please note that it is completely normal that ALL sea sponges, regardless of type or brand, will degrade with use over time. |
