► What is a truss rod? The term "truss rod" is used to define the steel bar that runs along a guitars neck. The adjustment screw is located inside the sound hole, as shown in the image to the left. Using the Hex Key you get with this purchase, youll be able to adjust the strings action (The distance between the strings and fingerboard). Turning the screw clockwise will bring the strings closer to the fingerboard while turning it counter-clockwise will take the strings further away from the fingerboard. |
