Once cooled, this material will keep the shape of the item that was used to mold the shape into place. In its cooled state, it is very durable and light weight. It is used widely in thermoform holster making, cosplay costume creation, removable surface coverings, keel guard protectors, and much more.
●3D infused graphic: The printed graphic on this Basketweave textured sheet is infused into the surface under heat and pressure. It is highly durable, scratch resistant, and will not fade. Both the heights and depths of the 3D Basketweave texture are covered with the infused imprint. This gives the effect of being raised off the surface of the sheet and causes the graphic to present its effect with unmatched depth.
●Easy to form: To use Holstex Basketweave Thermoform sheet, score and cut a piece slightly larger than the object being covered. Heat the material to a 300-320 degree Fahrenheit range and place over object. Using forming foam, press the material around the object and allow to cool in position. Once cooled, remove and sand edges to desired shape. (Detailed instructions included with order.)

3D Basketweave Texture
HOLSTEX thermoform sheet is the most advanced material available for holster and sheath making use. This texture variant is called, "Basketweave", and features a 3D textured surface that is compatible with the basketweave textures commonly seen on Law Enforcement belts, Police duty gear and other custom leather items. This texture is not to be confused with the current Basketweave KYDEX sheet, which is an aftermarket basketweave texture applied to normal KYDEX sheet stock. The 3D texture on HOLSTEX Basketweave is a raised surface texture and does not distort or fade with forming like the aftermarket KYDEX basketweave texture currently on the market. Unlike basketweave KYDEX, HOLSTEX Basketweave texture is a revolutionary step forward in the available texture options for professional sheath and holster makers.
