If not TV, homepage--system setting--image and sound---voice setting--digital audio output--PCM/LPCM.
If Samsung
1. Press the settings or menu button on the remote control.
2. Move down and select the “Sound” menu. Choose “HDMI Input Audio Format” and select “PCM”.
3. Choose “Digital Output Audio Format” and select “PCM”.
4. Optional - Choose “Sound Output” and select “Audio Out/Optical”.
If Vizio
1. Press the settings or menu button on the remote control
2. Move down to the “Audio” menu
3. Choose “Digital Audio Out” and select “PCM”.

Q: Why cant sound be adjusted?
A: The volume of optical output cannot be adjusted through TV, which depends on the design of TV itself. If you need adjust volume, please adjust through your audio receiver.
Q: Why there is no sound coming from my old stereo?
A: Some older speakers may not have a self-amplifying function and need to be connected to an amplifier, otherwise the sound will be very small or even no sound output. (The signal current of the audio converter itself can only drive the headset directly).
