Why there is no sound from sound bar after plugging into the HDMI port?

1. Please ensure the cable you plug into your TV is HDMI (ARC) Output Port and not HDMI Input Port.

2. Please make sure change the TV audio format setting to PCM.

Why dont I get audio from apps like Netflix, Hulu and Disney+?

First of all, please switch your TV sound setting to PCM/Stereo and then turn off Dolby or DTS function in the app sound settings.APPs like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO, Hulu, Youtube.After that it will work perfectly.
