The Leash Buddy pole easily mounts to either side of your bike. If you prefer your dog on one side vs the other (example: the non-traffic side) then switching is a breeze. Simply pull the quick-release pin out and insert the pole into the opposite side - 10 seconds and its done.

Production – The Leash Buddy was made with each piece machined to aerospace standards. To ensure the absolute highest quality of every product that we ship, we’ve borrowed strict aerospace engineering specs and designed every component to be within ± 0.005 inches. It’s not perfect, but it’s as close as you can get.

Design Process – Design, Build, Test, Repeat until perfect. Our design and testing process was all about getting the right amount of stiffness in the spring, getting the correct pole length, and finally combining both. Our first prototype was tested to get just the right amount of stiffness in the spring so it would withstand any jerking or pulling from dogs up to 150 lbs. In the second prototype, we perfected the pole design to get it to the optimal length and diameter. The third and final prototype combined the first two and created the tested, tried, and true Leash Buddy system that you see today.

The Leash Buddy’s Materials – Here’s what this thing is made of: A sturdy Shock-Absorbing Spring, 100% Stainless Steel Bracket (with patent pending design), Reinforced Hardware, Premium Elastic Leash, and a full shock-absorption system for no unplanned meetings with the ground.
