Check the highly visible rod at the top of your backswing to improve your rotation and see if you’ve maintained the proper swing plane while turning. ON THE RANGE - hit balls while wearing the device to feel your arms and body working together to eliminate the dreaded chicken wing and to add power to the swing while delivering and releasing the club squarely.
Swing Align provides multiple solutions to improve different aspects of the golf swing and short game. It is designed to be worn on the upper body across the biceps for full swing training but can also be worn on the lower body above the knees to improve chipping and putting.
Short Game and More!
The NEW Short Game Rod makes it even easier to develop a controlled short game swing or putting stroke. In this configuration the Swing Align cuffs are mounted on the Short Game Rod with the openings facing out. Using light pressure to push the arm cuffs together against the stops at the center of the rod helps you to stay connected with your arms in a perfect triangle, and to produce a more controlled short game pitch, chip, or putting stroke.
The Short Game Rod helps synchronize your arms to move at a consistent speed, allowing the bigger muscles to control shots for better distance control. Golfers prone to using their arms or hands to flip or swipe at the ball can quickly feel what it’s like to make well-struck short game shots.
Our Story
The initial concept for Swing Align was developed by Allan Strand, concert pianist, inventor, founder of 17-PGA-win Dandy Putters (including the 2000 Masters), and man obsessed with swing mechanics.
He finished a prototype before his untimely death in 2013. The project was picked up in 2017 by Chris McGinley, a 30 year golf industry veteran, and Allan’s brother Everett Strand.
The Swing Align was introduced in early 2019. In early 2020, Swing Align Short Game was added to the family.
Patented Technology
Swing Align is a wearable device consisting of a highly visible alignment rod that runs through two swiveling arm cuffs held together by a flexible connection belt that allows for full, athletic swings. The alignment rod comes with rod extenders for maximum visual feedback or two end screws for a simpler set-up.
The NEW Short Game configuration uses the same arm cuffs mounted in reverse on the short game alignment rod which features adjustable o-ring stops for different arm spacing options.
