The thinkSOIL Kit
We’ve taken the guesswork out of taking a soil sample and have made the results understandable by every DIY homeowner.
Imagine, you give us 4 Ounces of Soil and thinkSOIL produces a reliable 4 Season Success Plan. (the minimum for a reliable test result).
Simply follow the instructions included in your Kit by randomly taking samples at a depth of 4-6 inches below the vegetation line from 6-10 locations in your yard or garden.
Fill, close and mark the zip-lock baggie and insert into the pre-paid envelop. Drop off at the Post Office and if you’ve provided your email address we’ll notify you when the test report and Plan is ready to view and print.

The Prescription Solutions report summarizes the major amendments needed per 1,000 square feet of area being cultivated/maintained.
The Plan also displays the amendments need to remediate your soil and to maintain the health of your outdoor creation. For the first time, the DIY homeowner will have a road-map of needed amendments, how much of each is required, as well as a season-by-season application schedule.
NOTE: We do not test for or report nitrogen levels. This component of the soil is highly volatile. Its presence in the soil is variable from one period of time to another making one day’s measurement unreliable the next. Nitrogen is recommended in pounds per 1,000 sq. ft. and should be applied throughout the growing year.
