Why it Works
The key is in the shape and the material used. Not too firm, and not too soft, it offers the perfect amount of support for your pelvis, your hips, and as a result, the rest of your spine.
Ailments like sciatica, coccydynia and spinal stenosis are the result of pressure on your nerves. Did you know that every one of the nerves in your body, runs through your back? So if your posture is poor, or you have something else going on that causes misalignment in your bones, the pain comes because your nerves are compressed.
When using this device, you are retraining yourself to adopt a more natural posture. You may experience soreness or aching as you use your muscles in new ways. Inventor, Fred P. Newton
On July 6, 1930, Fred Newton dove into the Mississippi River at Ford Dam, MN. Five months and 1,826 miles later, he emerged in New Orleans, LA, completing the longest swim in history, a record that stood for 70 years in the Guinness Book of Records.
Amazingly, this testament to the human spirit was not what Fred Newton was proudest of. By 1953 Fred, a traveling insurance salesman, had been suffering from back and tailbone pain exacerbated by driving the dusty roads of Texas. Ten years later, Fred perfected the device that would revolutionize the comfort seating business. He founded RelaxoBak in 1963 and impressed the medical community with his remarkable invention.
