Rainier and hand dyed at the farm shop with environmentally safe low impact dyes. The result is intense, sumptuous coloring reminiscent of human hair colors - great fun for so many crafts from doll making to fiber arts of all kinds. Also, our Locks are cleaned and washed with biodegradable soap; we do not apply any of the harsh chemicals typically used in commercial operations. Therefore, small pieces of vegetal matter may be included with your bag, but these particles are easily removed by hand. Please be aware that our locks are not ready for wig making - they are not combed or carded and are priced accordingly. This fiber package is a full 1oz (28g - not 10g like most other offers); a great economic choice for crafters choosing to comb their locks themselves! Hand wash in cool water.
