Description

This spring compression tool makes servicing 2016+ Polaris secondary clutches a breeze. It utilizes a special extremely coarse thread to keep you from “screwing around” with it all day. The special aluminum pilot bushing fits perfectly into the helix to keep the helix centered while you compress the spring. It can be mounted permanently to a bench, clamped in a vice or bolted to the SLP Receiver Hitch Taper Holding Tool #20-229. This tool was designed to quickly let the user to safely remove and install the helix and spring from the B.O.S.S. secondary clutch found on the following models:

Unlike other tools used for this purpose, this tool is compatible with the above 2017-21 models without removal of the black bearing spacer, allowing for faster tear down and re-assembly.

This tool is also designed to safely remove and install the helix and spring on the secondary clutch found on the following models:

Tech Tip: Polaris UTV Clutches should be visually inspected every 500 miles. Compressed air should be used to clean any dirt and belt dust out of the clutch system. Clutches should be removed from the UTV and serviced every 1000 to 1500 miles depending on the driving conditions encountered.
