OEM Running boards offer only limited protection and still attach to the sheet metal they are meant to protect, meaning the force of any blows or scrapes still transfers into a vehicle’s body panels. While EAG ’s Rock Sliders attach instead to the frame of the vehicle, meaning the shock of glancing of a rock, tree, or any other hazard is isolated from the thin metal of the wrangler’s body.
Guard your Wranglers paint and body panels from brush, stones, and other trail hazards with EAG Off-Road Rocker Guards. EAG Rocker Guards not only protect your Wranglers paint and body panels from trail debris, but are an excellent way to cover up and hide existing scuffs, scratches and body damage.

I installed them on a Wrangler 1999 TJ 4.0. Sturdy and well constructed set of step bars/rock sliders. Installation was very simple. -- Wolf 2003 |
Once you figure out how to lift the body off the mounts high enough the install isnt to hard. Definitely recommend having a 2nd person to help. Once on they look great and fit perfectly.--Th3MadMike |
Line it up drill the holes and bolt it together. Straightforward install. It bolt to the body and set on the body mount so the steps feel solid. Very heavy duty I’ve bounced them into a few trees with no damage.-- CLOyer |
