Description

GTC Smartach D digital diesel engine tachometer is designed for use in diesel engines equipped with fuel injection pump and individual fuel injection lines. It uses a piezoelectric transducer clamp which is placed on one of the fuel lines for sensing the pulses caused by the surge of fuel pressure in it, and using these pulses to measure the RPM of the engine. Allows the user to adjust the sensitivity and threshold level of the piezoelectric sensor signal in order to adapt to a variety of engines and measurement condition and is supplied with a 6 feet (1.8 m) sensor cable and universal piezoelectric sensor clamp suitable for 1/4 inch and 6 mm diameter fuel injection lines. Other sizes of piezoelectric sensor clamps are also available under special order.
