Mount your equipment with ease

This easy to install rack adapter allows you to create a little more clearance for your equipment. Perfect for situations where your equipment sticks out just a little too much so that your cabinet or equipment door wont close. This rack adapter gives you that extra space you need. You can even reverse the rack adapter to extned out equipment to give you more clearance for the back fo your rack.

The RRA1U, Recessed Rack Adapters were developed and designed by CablesAndKits to solve the problem of protruding equipment in racks. The Recessed Rack Adapters are used to mount computer, A/V, and networking equipment slightly deeper in an equipment rack (3 inches from the face of the rack), allowing the ability to close rack doors when protruding wiring or equipment would have otherwise prevented doing so. These are perfect for mounting in patch panels, shelves, and other standard 19" equipment.
