If you are not receiving certain DTV stations, this does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your antenna or receiver. Check with the TV station to find out whether they are planning changes that will improve reception. To check available signals where you live, use the FCCs DTV reception maps.

If no need amplifier, just screw the antenna cable to the TV antenna port;

If add the external amplifier module, connect the amplifier cable to antenna cable female, then screw the amplifier cable to TV socket, the other end to the power supply

Note:

  1. Set your TV to antenna mode and DONT forget to scan for channels!
  2. Find a good spot in your house and mount it with extra long cord

The type of antenna needed at a specific location may vary depending on geographic location, the height at which the antenna is used and other local factors such as nearby buildings, trees, terrain or home construction.

Always re-scan channels after moving the HDTV antenna, the result may be better.

We do NOT Recommend to use the amplifier or booster if your house is very close to the broadcast tower and the signal is already very strong.

Improve Your Experience:

1, If your antenna is not working, pls kindly check as below:

1) Make sure your TV or equipment has a built-in ATSC tuner (TV manufactured before 2009 have no ATSC tuner); if NO, pls get a HDTV receiver/digital converter box to work with it;

2) Make sure your install the antenna correctly on your TV and the ANTENNA/CABLE IN port is in good condition;

3) Make sure there are available free channels in your area, and the signals are strong;

4) Try to moving it around your house or Try scans from a couple different places and angles to see where you would get the best reception.

2, If your antenna receive less channels than your old antenna, pls kindly check the signal strength and the distance to the tower to determine if you need an signal booster to boost signals

3, This antenna can be mounted outside for optimal reception or put it on something iron like metal dish

4, Only when the signals are weak or you are more than 40 miles away the tower or you miss some channels, you can try to add an amplifier

5. If you cant receive some Hi-V or Lo-V channels, pls check with your local TV station if those frenquency transmitted in horizontal from their transmitter, if "Yes",you may need a directional TV antenna like rabbit ears.
