Feature

●SOUNDPROOFING BASICS - There are three keys to soundproofing. To block airborne noise, barriers need to be DENSE, LIMP, and AIRTIGHT. MLV is both dense and limp but should be installed with no gaps for best performance. Plan for 100% coverage!
●HOW TO USE MASS LOADED VINYL – Luxury Liner MLV sheets are pre-cut to smaller sizes for small-scale projects where a full MLV roll is too much. Common uses include soundproof boxes, generator enclosures, pool pumps, automotive, and anywhere with small gaps to be filled. Fully enclose the noise source and seal gaps and seams.
●BLOCK AIRBORNE NOISE – Luxury Liner’s dense 1/8” thick barrier is designed to block airborne sound waves. Each sheet is 24” x 54” (9 sq. ft.) and weighs 1 lb per square foot with an STC rating of 26. For structural vibrations, use Damplifier Pro sound deadening mats instead.
●DURABLE AND EASY TO INSTALL – Odorless with 3x tensile strength of lower quality MLV, Luxury Liner is fire-tested (FMVSS 302) and heat rated to 150° F. Install with vinyl contact cement, nails, screws & washers, or hang with grommets. Never install directly next to a heat source, always maintain a 6" air gap.
