●WHATS INCLUDED? Contains one solid cast iron teapot weighing 3.7lbs that holds 40oz (When fully loaded) of your best quality Japanese Green Tea or brew of choice. This beautiful and unique teapot comes with its matching trivet and stainless steel tea infuser. Rust-Proof enamel inside, with a hand painted and glazed exterior, which makes this “tetsubin” perfect for tea preparation.
●BEST USE - We always recommend to heat the water in another vessel and to pour the boiling water into the cast iron teapot after placing the loose tea or tea bags to the infuser ? AS A KETTLE, we suggest to not load more than 27Oz (800ml) for boiling. Stovetop safe, the small fire is suggested. ? TO CLEAN, rinse the inside with warm water is enough. Always wipe exterior with dry cloth while pot is still warm.

Like all drinkers of fine, special and ceremonial teas, everything matters. From the teapot itself, its curves, looks, and life’s purpose of keeping hot tea hot, to the shape of the teacup, how it feels cupped in your hand and the satisfaction of a drinking edge that feels just right. Everything matters to the tea leaves you carefully chose.
And so, when Kiyoshi started hand making this quality of teapot we went straight to the 300 year old home of all Japanese teapots. And there, our team of artisans individually molded, hand-painted and glaze-dipped a range of exquisite teapots..
… It’s tradition-dipped luxury for those who ‘know’ tea.

Sealed Interior, And Easier To Clean.
The traditional tetsubin is a cast iron tea kettle, inside and out and made for boiling water. But The Kiyoshi Teapot Collection is in fact, tetsu kyusu! This is a special tetsubin with tough interior enamel and a hand-painted, ceramic glazed exterior. And it’s for the special act of brewing tea and enjoying those still moments.
This also makes the tetsu kyusu easier to clean (just rinse and air dry), and ensures it’s rust-free on the inside. If you don’t want iron in your tea, the Kiyoshi tetsu kyusu was made for you.
