Perfected in the early 90s, the BiCO Original Jig was designed to be a versatile bass jig, ideal for targeting shallow cover, skipping under trees and docks, or being fished as a swim jig.

Owner Hooks

All BiCO Jigs are made with Owner hooks because of their needle-sharp points that never need sharpening. Owner hooks are engineered for better penetration, resulting in effortless hooksets.

Conventional hooks encounter more resistance the deeper they penetrate. As Owner hooks penetrate, the resistance actually decreases as they cut their way through for an instant, positive hookset.

BiCO Battle Craw

Youll notice there is no trailer keeper on this jig. Thats because the sharp-angle bend on the hook keeps the trailer in place.

We designed a craw trailer that is perfectly tailored for the BiCO Original Jig, the BiCO Battle Craw. It has a crosshair stamped on the back that marks where the hook point should exit.

This will allow for a perfect rig that will keep the trailer locked in place.

Bill personally makes and inspects every jig himself to ensure the same level of quality he expects as a bass fisherman.

Everything made by BiCO Performance Jigs are from original designs, created and rigorously tested by Bill.

BiCO Performance Jigs

The BiCO Original Jig was designed and perfected in the early 90s and was only sold from Bills tackle shop in Massachusetts, where the jigs had built a strong local following.

Since then they have been sold all over and BiCO Performance Jigs has become a known and trusted brand with a variety of new baits.

Louie Guarino

In more recent years, Bill took Louie on as a partner to help with the business end and get the jigs online.

Also an avid fishermen, Louie had been a longtime fan of BiCO Jigs and was happy to get behind the BiCO brand.

Biggest BiCO Bass

This is an 11 pound 5 ounce bass Bill caught in North Carolina back in 1998. To date this is the biggest bass Bill knows of caught in the US on a BiCO Jig.
