NOTE: When using more than two universal joints in a system, a support heim must be used.

Built to handle the vibrations from racing applications

High quality fasteners designed for better attachment and upgraded safety

In order to determine which u-joint you will need, you can follow these steps:

Determine which spline is on your steering box or rack.

You can measure and count, or use the chart shown in images.

Then, determine which steering shaft you have, or will need for your specific.application (3/4" Smooth, 3/4" Double D, or 1" Double D)

If the u-joint in this listing isnt what you need, you can click here to see all of the other ones we have available

NOTE: Increasing a U-Joints angle of operation beyond 30° dramatically increases the stress on the joint, weakening the entire steering mechanism.

If a greater angle is needed, add another u-joint.Needle bearing universal joints have the distinct advantage of lasting much longer than non-needle bearing u-joints. Performance Online recommends only needle bearing steering u joints for use on street vehicles. Our joints are made of specially selected steel strength and longevity. The sealed precision needle bearings never need maintenance.

Billet Steel Needle bearing u-joints outlast non needle bearing joints by a factor of 10 to 1.
