Tweezers and Tongs

Tongs and tweezers are available in a variety of materials. Stainless steel tweezers are acid and corrosion resistant, have excellent tip harness, and an antiglare finish that reduces eye strain. Carbon fiber tweezers are soft and scratch-resistant, nonconductive, and suited to handle delicate and fragile components. Ceramic tweezers feature an extremely smooth surface and very low coefficient of friction. Ceramic is highly resistant to all strong acids, is 100 percent rustproof, anticorrosive, and highly temperature resistant. Titanium and disposable plastic tweezers are also available.
