With increased bike spacing, the BackRoad makes it easy to pack more bikes with a lot less hassle. Cradles and pads provide a snug and protected fit, while fully removable ZipStrips make loading a breeze. An SKS bike locking system is included to give you some peace of mind on your travels. The BackRoad features ZipStrips, which are adjustable frame clamps with ratcheting straps that secure your bikes down with rubber jaws. Anti-sway cradle attachments help further secure your bikes and eliminate bike-to-bike contact The BackRoad folds down when you don’t need it, tilts out of the way when you need access to the trunk and can fit 2” or 1.25” hitch sizes. This hitch rack includes an integrated SKS (Same Key System) lock which can secure your bikes to the rack as well as the rack to the receiver. The Yakima BackRoad Hitch Rack can accommodate four bikes up to 37.5-pounds each, or a maximum of 150-pounds.
