Description

  • The figure 8 desktop fastener is an easy to install tool for securing table or desktops. Very Simple in Design-these flat fasteners are shaped like two washers that got crushed in a press somewhere, ending up with a figure-eight shape. By recessing one “washer” into the top of your vertical piece, you use the other “washer” to attach to the horizontal.
  • It is made with the high quality of die casting steel (almost 1/8" thick) coated with zinc for rusting and corrosion resistance. Each fastener measures 1.29" x 0.78" x 12 gauge (~1/8") thick.
  • It reduces Wood Splitting - Securely fastens wooden table surface to its rails, while providing a pivot point to accommodate seasonal wood movement. The fastener can be used in table tops, desk tops, cabinet fronts, drawer fronts or arts and craft.
