The 4-1/2 inch diameter spiral sewn drum is manufactured with premium layers of soft muslin cotton stitched together in a spiral pattern, starting in the center and sewn circularly to the outer edge of the buff. Spiral Sewn Buff Drums are the perfect option to use before the felt flap buffing drum but after the high grit surface prep wheels. These spiral sewn drums are meant to be used with a solid buffing compound and are effective at metal finishing on numerous surfaces depending on the compound selected. Additionally, compared to other spiral sewn buffing wheels, the 4.5 inch width of the buffing drum provides a greater surface area thus cutting down time especially on larger surface area work pieces.
