All replacement snap-in valve stems must be made with EPDM synthetic rubber rather than natural rubber to meet SAE ozone requirements. EPDM synthetic rubber has a broader temperature range and will remain flexible in extremely cold weather. Premier valves conform to SAE J1205-J1206 standards for performance criteria for heat resistance, aging and ozone resistance. Maximum inflation pressure is 65 psi.
