The secret of PEEK bearing is that the debris will be embedded in the PEEK layer during the engine operating. The debris usually causes serious damage in traditional bearing because the debris is easily stuck in between the con-rod, cage, and crank pin and then scrap the race of the con-rod, or even the crank pin.
The PEEK is a kind of soft polymer material. It will not stuck the oil passage, though the peek layer might come off from the cage.
Moreover, the PEEK material is not dissolved into engine oil. It will not contaminate the lubricant.
The engine oil will not go bad because of the PEEK material.
