What is the Secondary Air Pump?
The secondary air pump is one of the external purification devices to reduce exhaust emissions. It blows additional air (secondary air) into the exhaust gas to increase the oxygen content in it. Its function is to blow secondary air into the exhaust gas and add the oxygen content in the exhaust gas.
Breaking of the secondary air pipe, wrong installation of the positive wire, damage to the secondary injection valve, and rupture of the vacuum tube will all cause the secondary air pump to produce ancient costumes. When the secondary air pump has the following faults: the fault light is on, and the fault code appears. This means you can replace the secondary air jet pump.
