Just Mixer MJust Mixer M

The growing family of compact mixers from Maker Hart welcomes the newest member: the Just Mixer M. Connect microphones, computers, tablets, phones, instruments*, DJ equipment—this mixer can handle it all! Designed by professional sound equipment makers to fulfill a need that has yet to be met, the Just Mixer M by Maker Hart crams tons of key features into a package smaller than the average smartphone.

Limited Anime Edition Premium Pack This limited run version features anime artwork to give your mixer some serious flare. It also includes all of the accessories found in the premium pack, including lapel mini mic and XLR and 1/4" adapters. * Instruments that require high input impedance such as electric guitars and basses will require a separate DI box for optimal sound.

Just Mixer M has onboard phantom power preamps to power condenser and electret microphones with plug-in-power, and also handles dynamic microphones with ease. Connect up to 2 microphones and set the preamp to the right setting—OFF for dynamic mics, 1.5v for electret microphones (lapel and mini-mics), or 48v for condenser mics—and you are ready to record podcasts, live music or whatever your imagination comes up with. Note: Microphones with 3-ring (TRRS) connectors will require an adapter (sold separately). (Not compatible with USB microphones.)

24-bit / 96kHz USB Audio IN and OUT

Besides personal use, the Just Mixer M is great for musicians, DJs or audio technicians to mix and monitor audio. Free yourself from heavy, oversized equipment to clear up desk space or save your back out at street venues, music clubs, or anywhere youd like to perform or record. It is also ideal for combining different sound inputs in webcasting on Facebook, YouTube, and other live streaming platforms.

Use the included TRS to TRRS cable to record audio using devices with audio combo jacks (integrated audio in/out jacks) such as phones and tablets. To use phones, tablets, etc., to record, simply connect the two-ring end of the cable to the mixer and the three-ring end to the combo jack, and use a recording app on the mobile device to capture sound coming from the mixer.

* Using the included USB power adapter is recommended for minimum noise. If you experience noise or interference, try another power source or a USB power bank.

  • The included audio combo jack cable (TRS to TRRS) is not an AUX cable; it is for recording using devices with combo jacks (integrated audio in/out, such as phones and tablets) and will not function as a regular audio cable.
  • MUTE controls and Master volume do not affect monitor headphones—use the headphone volume wheel to control headphone volume.
  • MUTE button above the Master volume is for muting the AUX input.
  • USB Audio: To use USB audio input, be sure the USB/LINE button is depressed and glowing red. For USB audio output, make sure the button is up and the light is off. (Not compatible with USB microphones.)
  • MIC inputs are mono only; the same signal will be heard on both channels of all the mixer’s outputs. The MIC inputs are not compatible with 3-ring TRRS plugs found on many headsets; use a TRRS splitter cable to connect this type of headset mic.

Troubleshooting noise :

  • Use the included USB power adapter whenever possible.
  • Try plugging into a different electrical outlet or use a USB power bank.
  • Check for interference from other equipment connected to the same power circuit.
  • Input devices volume control should be set around 70%. If you hear distortion, lower the channel volume until no distortion is heard. Then increase volume using the Master fader, headphone volume wheel or volume control on your speakers.
  • Use the mixers gain knob sparingly. Increase your input device’s volume first. Only increasing volume settings on the mixer may cause a high noise level.
  • Additional static noises may arise due to interference from other connections in close proximity. Do not power mixer from a charging hub that also powers other devices, especially if those devices are also plugged into the mixer.
  • How to use Just Mixer M for ZOOM can find Maker hart youtube video.
