The Irix 11mm f/4 Blackstone wide angle RECTILINEAR lens for Nikon is a manual, super-wide-angle lens compatible with both Full Frame and APS-C cameras. With its amazing 126º angle of view, this lens will let you include much more of the scene for a greater sense of space and incredible effects. With the Irix 11mm f/4, you will not see any distorsion, you will only see straight lines. Just take a look at the example image below. This makes it a perfect lens for interior photography.

Irix 11mm Blackstone RECTILINEAR lens for Nikon

The Irix 11mm exists in two different finishes, there is the Blackstone 11mm (this is the listing for the Blackstone version) and the Firefly 11mm. Both lenses have the same optical qualities, the differences can only be found in the housing of the lens.

Blackstone (this listing is for the Blackstone):

  • The lens is made out of aluminium alloy, making it extremely durable and resistant
  • The engravings on the lens have been filled with a UV reactive paint which will light up under a small UV light, perfect for Night Photography as it avoids having to use a normal flashlight and your eyes will not have to adjust the the darkness after turning the UV light off
  • The Blackstone is fully sealed on all sides: front and back and the barrel itself, making it the ideal lens to work with in all weather conditions

  • The lens is made out of a lightweight ABS plastic, making it lightweight and easy to carry around
  • An ergonomic rubber focus ring will give you a nice and comfortable way to focus
  • The Firefly lens is sealed on all sides except the front element
