Some tips for installation
- （1）It is advisable to replace your door gasket when you are replacing an igniter. A leaking door gasket is often a contributing factor to igniter failure.
- （2）If the burnt-out tool is difficult to remove, you can remove the end with a pair of diagonal pliers. Before removal you can tape a wire onto the electrical connector, helping the process go smoother
- （3）To have best performance, set the new hot rod to protrude 1/8 ~ 1/4 inch into the fire pot.
