Troubleshoot:
*Note: Speed/Distance/Connectivity is subject to your existing hardware and internet providers own limitations. WiFi Range Extenders DO NOT SPEED UP internet, but rather increase the range of existing networks*
Connectivity
- WPS Mode is available on most routers on the market, if your Router does not support WPS, use Web Browser installation.
- Router may need professional troubleshooting for complex networks or older routers
- Install about ½ way between the desired Area and the Router
- On your device, set auto switching to choose the strongest signal
- If connection is unstable, install in area with less interference
- Choose the correct network based on needs
- AP Mode, using a network outlet or direct connection to Router via ethernet wire, can be used in hard to reach areas.
Distance
Recommended Network 2.4GHz
- 2G Connection travels farther at lower speeds
- 2G Provides better wall penetration
- 2G may get congested when there are many devices connected which will caused discontinued connections and slower speeds
- Antenna - Try adjusting Antenna for best results
- Router - Ensure your original hardware is in the best position to begin with
Speed
Recommended Network 5.4GHz
- 5G Connection provides faster data transmissions
- 5G Have less congestion and fewer interferences from other devices
- 5G Has more channels and does not easily get congested
