Why is this important? Shoe sizes are not standardized. Each shoe manufacturer uses different measurements in terms of instep height, toe shape and foot width. However, the basis for your own shoe size is always the length of your feet. Therefore, you should always determine your foot length before buying in order to choose the right shoe. |
Step 1: Trace your feet Take off your socks, place a sheet of paper against a wall and place your foot on it so that your heel touches the wall. Now use a pen to trace the shape of your foot on the front of your toes. Hold the pen exactly upright. Important: Both feet must be measured, as they are often of different lengths! The feet often swell during the day, which is why we recommend measuring in the late afternoon. |
Step 2: Measure Now you can measure the edge of the paper from the heel to the longest toe and determine the length of your foot. Use your longer foot as a guide. We have calculated the necessary space for you to have enough room in your shoe. Find the size and allowance that fits your foot length in our shoe size chart to make the right choice. Important: The allowance we calculate is a recommendation for approach shoes, as they should fit tighter. All our other models have a different size chart. |
