This is a front power seat recline motor drive shaft for e36 3 series with power seats. These are solid stainless steel shafts that is a replacement for the braided cable shafts that always fail and break. This shaft goes in between the motor and the drive that reclines the seat back. It will fit left and right side seats. . 92-99 318 323 325 328 M3. The measurement is 1 1/16" inches.
