Description

Who is EKOH ?

Hey, I am Dawn, and I am the founder of ekohstore. I live and work on beautiful Waiheke Island with my husband Richard, two teenage kids, and the family dog April. We are a small family business on a mission to reduce waste generated and chemicals used in our homes.

Im a firm believer that every choice we make counts. This includes what we choose to eat, shops and brands we decide to buy from, how we dispose of our waste, the body products we apply, and the cleaning stuff we choose to use in our homes. That is why I developed the EKOH range of natural zero waste products.

We personally use and reuse all our products ourselves and value your feedback and product reviews. Thank you for joining the EKOH change for good as we strive to make small happy changes every day.

So how do you pronounce EKOH? You say it as an echo. An acronym for every kind of happy EKOH.

Why are EKOHs sponge dish cloths so special & often called Swedish Dishcloths?

Natural Cotton & Cellulose EKOH sponge cloths are made in Germany using the same techniques used in making Swedish Dishcloths in Sweden. Woven fabrics use 70% FSC certified wood pulp (also known as cellulose) and 30% natural organic cotton. The sponge cloth can be returned to the earth at the end of the products life. Recycle your cloths at home, returning them to the mulch in 4- 6 weeks. Printed with non-toxic inks and packed in South East Aisa.
No Plastic No Microplastics filaments in the fabric, no plastic in the Kraft card packing, ensures the cleaning cloths and packaging are recyclable. Simply bury in the garden or feed your worm farm when your cloth reaches the end of its life. They wont leave plastic fibres on the surface of plates & eating utensils that you or your family could ingest.
Unique Origional Artist Prints The Artist Series is designed exclusively for EKOH by talented Australian Artist Kylie Bridges. The colours are current, and the abstract style flowers will add a scandi touch to your home interior and kitchen.
Ideal Dish Cloth Size EKOH sponge cloths are 20cm X17cm/7.87 x 6.69", sized to ensure your dishcloth is easy to use, super absorbent and dries quickly. Due to natural fabrics, the dishcloth will dry crisp and shrink little but regain size when wet.
