Description

Our Promanila rope is a beautiful synthetic alternative to the natural plant fiber. It is designed to look like natural fiber Manila and is constructed using film polypropylene fiber strands. We offer custom-cut lengths to save you time and provide the exact amount of rope you need for your project.

If you love the look of natural Manila rope but you don’t like some of the disadvantages, Promanila rope is for you. Some of the advantages of Promanila compared to natural Manila are that it feels smoother and is resistant to temperature, weather, UV rays, chemicals, oil, and abrasion. It does not shed, fade, shrink or harden. It does best in climates with four seasons, and doesnt last as long in hot, humid climates. The tensile strength of Promanila is nearly 50% stronger than natural Manila rope even though it is lighter and floats on water.

Promanila is even more versatile than natural Manila due to it’s longer service-life and is commonly used as a decorative rope for dock and deck handrails, beach and waterfront barriers, and nautical themed designs for both interior and exterior projects.
