Palomar has always offered the traditional surface treble hook lure and rightly so. The crankbait hydro-dynamics create a perfect movement pattern from approx 1 to 30 feet of surface water. Our new J-Series surface jig is a small but significant change from traditional surface lures. After analysis it was a clear decision to develop this modernized jig. The Owner 3x J-hook is the perfect choice thats stronger than any treble hook if youre looking for larger fish. Constant casting and reeling wont rake sea grass or snag rocks or reef. People said Palomar was crazy creating these jigs with such high cost components. Maybe were nuts but now theres no need to swap out any components as weve done all that for you for much less. Our flat fall maximizes the water column width upon descent showing itself to all species on its way down. We slightly altered the hydro-dynamic mold for a wider, slower drop. Anglers now have the quality they deserve for no extra charge. Maybe Palomar doesnt get rich like others that try to imitate us.
