Easy to install

  1. Prepare the tools to replace the spark plug: quick wrench and socket, as long as you can find the type of socket to unscrew the screw
  2. Unscrew the high-voltage wire stakes
  3. Unscrew the spark plug
  4. Install the spark plug

A few points to note:

  1. In preparation for the replacement, the vehicle should be turned off and cooled for a certain period of time before starting the replacement.
  2. pay attention to the cleanliness of the entire operation, must wipe the ignition coil around the dust and oil, if into the combustion chamber, will have serious adverse effects, try to wear gloves to operate.
  3. When screwing all the screws, the strength should be even and straight up and down, so as not to break the screw mouth.
  4. After the installation is completed, check the ignition coil wiring and test fire the car.

Generally speaking, ignition coils are limited to 10 years or 100,000 miles. However, for various reasons, some coils will not last that long. Therefore, it is necessary to have a new set of spare ignition coils in case of a faulty coil, and it is best to replace them all when replacing the coils for added safety on the road.
