Description

Anode rods for Suburban RV water heater are made of 99.8% high purity AZ31 magnesium, ensuring a durable performance and safe to use. Advenova anode rods are compatible with all Suburban SW4, SW6, SW10 and SW16 tank water heater models. It works as replacement part of Suburban 232767 rod. Suburban RV tank water heaters are manufacturerd with procelain steel tanks. An anode rod prevents tank corrosion by having a lower electrical potential than steel tank. Galvanic corrosion makes the anode rod corrode instead of the tank. It is recommended to remove and inspect the rods at least once annually and should be replaced when its 75% consumed. The anode rods for RV water heaters are manufactured as of equivalent standards to OEM. The product details are also refined to perfection. Unit cost of Advenova 2 pieces rods set is lower than single piece. It allows you to keep one spare for future use. More importantly, it protects your investment on RV water heater by extending life span of your RV water heater significantly. The reason for the smell of rotten eggs: the water supply contains a naturally-occuring ion called sulfate. However, sulfate turns into hydrogen sulfide either when anode rod is corroded, or when some untreated water has high sulfur-reducing bacteria (SRB). If smelly gas remains after replacing anode rod, you may try to flush and disinfet the tank, and add a water purification system. Advenova started as a small project by a group of engineers who are passionate about trailer life themselves. Advenova has now grown into a flourishing company.
