Description

Skillfully fire burnt and hand-crafted in Peru from a single gourd, these have various etchings and carvings on the body, with a ribbed edge for a guiro effect. Also filled with seeds and small stones to produce a cascading rain sound. A lovely item, both ornate and functional. All gourds may vary slightly in appearance. The RAINSTICK gets its name from the sound of falling rain it makes when turned upside down.
