Description

The Fowler High Precision 24"/600mm Xtra-Range Digital Caliper has a hardened stainless steel frame for increased corrosion resistance and product life; long jaws permit accessibility when measuring large workpieces. It has direct metric/inch conversion for versatility. The knurled lock screw holds the sliding jaw in position when required. This caliper is used for measuring inside dimensions (ID) and outside dimensions (OD). Digital calipers can take differential measurements to determine the difference in measurements between two objects by zeroing the display at any point along the scale. Some digital calipers can switch between standard and metric units, and some can output readings to a computer or printer for recording measurements. This caliper can output data via an RS-232C cable to capture and record data. It comes with a fitted case. This product has a full 2-year warranty. Fowler, an American company, manufactures premium inspection and measurement instruments like electronic indicators, calipers, bore gages, and micrometers. The company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Canton, MA.
