Description

LHOOVMEE generator interlock kit works by preventing both utility power and generator power from being turned on at the same time. Our interlock kits provide a stable and safe solution when using generators.

Our equipment only allows one main circuit breaker to be ON or all closed at any one time. The bracket mounts to the front cover of the breaker panel and then moved down to close the generator breaker and allow the main breaker to remain open. When moving up, the main breaker closes and allows the generator breaker to remain open.

Generator Interlock Kits allow the home to be safely powered from a portable generator during a power outage. It effectively avoids unsafe power generation situations that could electrocute power company workers or damage generators.

For safe use of generators, to safely direct generator power to any circuit in your home during a power outage, while making sure you can use all appliances safely, keeping your home circuits safe, please equip your home electrical box with this interlock kit.

Spacing Required:

The spacing between the main circuit breaker and the generator circuit breaker is 1 3/8 inches


Step 1 Power off, place the bottom plate(holes only) EXACTLY as shown and then use the pen to mark holes through the bottom plates holes	Step 2 Remove the panel cover from the breaker panel and drill the three holes marked on the panel cover using the supplied 1/4 drill bit.	Step 3 Insert the screws from rear of cover, install the bottom plate and top plate on the front cover of the breaker panel. Please make sure that the top plate can be pulled freely (enough space).	Step 4 As shown, you see that the main breaker is ON, the generator breaker is OFF and can not be switched ON. The interlock has been properly installed. Lastly, apply all labels on electric panel.
