How to winterize RV with RVGUARD blow out adapter?

  1. Empty Waste Holding Tanks: Empty and flush your black and gray tanks. Leave the gray vale open when finished, then disconnect the city water supply and turn off RVs water pump.
  2. Drain Hot Water Tank: Open the pressure relief valve on RVs water heater and remove the drain plug or anode rod. Use tank rinser flush RVs water heater. Depending on the condition of the anode rod, this may be a good time to replace it.
  3. Drain Freshwater tank: Open freshwater tanks drain and allow it to empty, this may take a while depending on how much fresh water is in the tank.
  4. Drain Low-Point Drains: Turn water heater bypass valves to the bypass position, open both low-point drains underneath the RV, these may be a bit tough to reach. Turn on each faucet in the RV set to "warm" to allow all water to easily run out through the low point drains.
  5. Clear Water Line: When water is no longer running out of the low-point drains, close the valves and turn off all the faucets in RV. Turning on one faucet at a time set to "warm" to open both hot and cold lines at the same time, blow compressed air through the system one or two times until the water clears out of the faucet.
  6. Blow Out Water of the Outdoor Shower: Dont forget the out door shower, just use blow the remaining water out of it with the air compressor.
