How to Use? 1. Just plug in, wait for about 3 minutes warm up period, The number 8 will scroll back and forth on the display. 2. Normal monitoring state, green light on. No display on screen. 3. Where to install? Natural Gas which is comprised of methane gas and much lighter than air. If leakage, natural gas rises towards ceiling and accumulates in areas near ceiling, mount the detector around middle to high level area . Propane is typically supplied to homes via delivery truck in liquid form and stored near the home in propane tanks, and much heavier than air and will collect at lower levels. Mount detector around middle to lower level area. |
How to Test? Periodic testing is used to check detectors function and make sure it can alarm when encounter gas leakage. The lighter is deflated and the detector can be tested! |
