The Four-Month Fetus Model is one of a series of models that comprise the Sex Education and Family Living coordinated program. This model features life-sized, detailed, and accurate representation of the anatomical features of the fetus and its mother. The sequence on the model illustrates the successive development of the fetus from the sixth week after conception to the 16th week. The model illustrates the size, physical features, and physical positioning of the embryo/fetus. It is a great graphic instructional aid on reproduction topics. Each model in the series contains the important supplemental materials listed in the description of the Human Reproductive System Model Activity Sets at the top of the page. For grades 6 to 12 and ages 11 to 18 years.
