Description
Please read the following model properties carefully, check your model number to ensure this is the correct part for your appliance.
You can find your products model number on a plate affixed to the product or in the owners manual. Even though parts may look the same, there are often variances in similar parts and it is important to buy parts that fit your specific model so as not to cause returns.
Note: The valve is designed to be opened or closed. The water flow is metered by the orifice that restricts the flow of water to the level the humidifier, so check if the orifice is installed before use.
Installation tips:
Step 1: Turn off power to furnace and shut off water valve that supplies water to the humidifier.
Step 2: Disconnect the 2 wires attached to the solenoid valve.
Step 3: Unscrew the inlet and outlet water compression nuts with a 1/2" and a 7/16" wrenches.
Step 4: Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the old valve from the humidifier.
Step 5: Screw the valve and reconnect the water lines . Follow the arrows for flow direction.
Step 6: Reattach the wire connections. The valve uses AC voltage.
Step 7: Turn the power back on and open the water supply valve.
