Maximum range can only be achieved through optimum conditions that include open rural areas without obstructions, flat areas where you can see the other person, and over water. The LXT535VP3 features Channel Scan that automatically checks channels for activity, Auto Squelch to remove annoying background noise, and a HI/LO Power Setting that lets you adjust transmit power & conserve battery life. This radio also features call alerts, roger beep, easy button access, and a battery life extender. Midlands Dual Power Option allows the use of rechargeable batteries (Included) or 4 AAA alkaline batteries (Not Included). In addition. Midland Radio will replace any faulty radios within 3 years of purchase. This radio provides an easy-to-use, low cost, and reliable solution to long-range communication for any outdoor enthusiast.

The Midland LXT535VP3 includes a pair of Mossy Oak Camouflage 22 Channel GMRS Radios with up to 24 Mile Range. With rechargeable batteries and a dual desktop charger, the LXT535VP3 features Call Alert for incoming call notification and Channel Scan to check channels for activity. The radios feature HI/LO power settings with a Battery Life Extender for longer battery life, Roger Beep, and Keypad Lock. Unlike other GMRS radios on the market that use lithium batteries, Midlands Dual Power Option allows the use of either the included rechargeable batteries or 4 "AAA" batteries.
