1.First install the connecting rod (small end) into the pin hole of the piston with the piston pin.
2.Install the piston ring (gas ring, oil ring) into the ring groove on the piston.
3.Insert the installed connecting rod and piston assembly into the cylinder from the top of the cylinder barrel with the big end of the connecting rod downward (the piston upward) (because the piston ring is blocked, it can not be inserted to the bottom).
4.Use the special fixture (made of thin iron sheet) for installing the piston ring, tighten the piston ring hoop until the opening clearance of the piston ring is adjusted properly, the distance angle between the two openings of the adjacent ring is adjusted properly, and the distance between the two openings of the adjacent ring is generally 120 degrees apart) and the inner diameter of the cylinder liner is the same, and then gently push it into the cylinder liner (for easy access, temporarily apply some oil lubrication at the piston ring)
5.The connecting rod bush is installed on the Journal of the connecting rod. The two fastening bolts, which one is to the left and the other to the right of the engine block, are directional. No mistakes can be made. The crankshaft cannot rotate 360 degrees in the body.
6.Tighten the two bolts of connecting rod bush to meet the required torque.
7.Install the cylinder head and adjust the valve clearance.
8.Install oil pump and oil pan.
