The Zirconia grains produce sharp edges and deliver a faster cut-rate than aluminum oxide sanding discs. It is manufactured for heavy stock removal and high-pressure grinding on various metals like aluminum, stainless steel, and composites. The zirconia grains covered with a grinding aid dissipate heat and prevent loading during use giving perfection to the metal sanding.

Longest Usage

These zirconia sanding discs with a self-sharpening grinding lubricant are constructed with a heavy-duty, Roloc R type backing pad which provides for the longest sanding life to the disc. The combination of the grinding aid and resin over resin bonding keeps the zirconia quick change sanding discs cool while grinding which extends the life of the disc and protects heat-sensitive alloys.
