Rinse the wetsuit inside and out with fresh water. Air dry it and avoid hanging in sun light directly, as UV rays can cause your wetsuit to break down faster.

Is there an odour when I first receive my wetsuit?

You may smell an odor when you received the wetsuit. Please dont worry, this smell wont harm your body, its environmentally and harmless glue smell. All wetsuits have the smell.

Does the smell go away over time or can you use something to eliminate the strong odor?

Yes. That is the smell of glue and its inevitable during wetsuit manufacturing. Just spread the wetsuit and leave it in an open environment for a while, the smell will fade a lot. And it will disappear after soaking in water.

Is there any seal on the inside of the flatlock seams such as tape, liquid tape to keep water from leaking in?
