How To Replace A Throttle Body:
Step 1: Find the throttle body, and remove the air intake duct.
Step 2: Check if there is carbon buildup. After prolonged use, the throttle hole will be worn, so you need replace it.
Step 3: Remove the throttle cable from the throttle body control lever, and disconnect any air or vacuum hoses.
Step 4: Remove the throttle position sensor from the throttle body.
Step 5: Remove the throttle body mounting screws and remove the throttle body assembly.
Step 6: Replace the old gasket between the throttle body and manifold during installation.
Step 7: Ensure the sensors, hoses and cables are all routed correctly to the new throttle body and that it mounts correctly to the intake manifold.
